Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with some highlights and a few drawbacks. The rooms were clean and nice, but I had to wait in line at check-in a few times. The view of the city was a nice touch, though.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Wong Chuk Hang station, just one stop away from Ocean Park. The rooms are below standard, especially due to the slippery tiles in the bathroom and the lingering smell of cigarettes. The service is exceptional, particularly Helen from the LIS Cafe who patiently showed different rooms and assisted with transportation queries. The location offers good transport links with buses outside, but lacks nearby dining options and convenience stores. The dining experience is somewhat lackluster, needing more variety and Westernized options. On the bright side, the hotel is close to walking trails and authentic local food spots in Apleichau and Aberdeen.
I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean rooms, but the smell of cigarettes was a letdown. The service was very friendly and accommodating, although there were some misses in attention to detail. The location, while not central, offered a quiet place to work and was convenient for visiting Ocean Park. Dining options were limited and overpriced. The facilities, including the pool with a lifeguard, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience.
